There are many books on the market when it comes to teaching what to look for and how to treat a patient in the field of Emergency Medical Services.But not many books on how teach somebody to be in EMT in the field.When you go through EMT school,you can’t be taught that real life scenerio with the interaction of a real patient.As an EMT Instructor myself, we try to pretend in EMT school to act like patients, but you need the real life calls.This book will help that EMT FTO/Preceptor/Trainer, whatever term you may use.It provides great tips and techniques for the EMT or Paramedic FTO.It also includes sample forms you could create to grade that EMT/Medic on a call by call basis.AAOS does a great job with the EMS series of books and I highly recommend any book by AAOS.
